History and symbolism

The obelisk is a monolithic monument which has its origins in ancient Egypt. Together with the pyramids, it is one of the greatest expressions of Egyptian monumental art. It is characterized by the elongated and thin quadrangular shape, ending with a pyramidal tip.

The texture of Luana Red marble is lamellar or serpentine and gives the material an elegant matt effect. Luana Red is widely used in local construction, especially for outdoor use and in particular for floors, stairs, tables and fireplaces.

Carrara marble is bright, brilliant with a very fine grain and characterized by a background color ranging from the purest white to gray, depending on the quarry of origin it can have the classic gray veins more or less accentuated. It is extracted from the quarries in the Apuan Alps and, depending on the quarry of origin, it assumes unique characteristics.
