SUBJECT
Allegory of the olive pressing taken from a panel by the Tuscan master Gabbrielli, it is part of a series of about fifteen panels on rural subjects. Detail of a panel with a rural subject depicting the stages of the olive harvest. Created by sculptor Donatello Gabbrielli in the first half of the 20th century, it is part of a trilogy dedicated to wine, wheat and olive oil.
THE MATERIAL.

THE PROCESSING
Each terracotta object is hand-moulded in high relief. The creation of each object requires precise processing times, drying at natural temperature, baking in the oven, cooling at natural temperature. Delivery of some items can take approximately 20 days, which may also vary based on weather conditions.
The lava gray color is obtained by adding of a mineral oxide to the clay mixture so that the object is a metal gray hue. All the characteristics of terracotta remain unchanged.
Gray is a popular neutral color, the new neutral par excellence. It conveys elegance and restraint. Very versatile, it goes very harmoniously with bright hues and neutral tones. Lava gray terracotta gives rooms a refined and trendy feel.
