Parsimmon Marble Table Sculpture hand painted in real size
The name italian name Cachi derives from the Japanese term: 柿 pronounced “kaki”, but it is also known as Persimmon. The fruits or fruit baskets on display are called “Still life”, with this name any cut flower or fruit picked, therefore no longer joined to the living plant. These elements have always been favored by major artists for their paintings, such as the great Caravaggio. On the symbolic level they want to indicate the transience of life in the face of the passing of time.
Marble is an elegant natural stone, which, painted by hand, gives this object an original and unconventional look, a truly unique piece.
