Materials
The green marble of Guatemala is also known as green India precisely because, despite the name, the major extraction takes place today in India. It is characterized by an intense green color with irregularly shaped white veins. Its particular color can be attributed to the presence of some minerals which, overlapping and mixing with each other, create original veins which sometimes form a real spider’s web on the slab.
Elegant and valuable, it has a remarkable resistance and is easy to clean thanks to its surface capable of limiting the absorption of dirt and humidity.
The infamous white Carrara marble has a pearly white background tone, slightly cloudy with more or less present and evident greyish intrusions and points, variegated greyish, millimeter or centimeter veins. Bianco di Carrara is a crystalline marble, with variable grain from fine to medium, homogeneous and compact.
