The sphere is a symbol of perfection, an image of the Earth and the Celestial Bodies, a geometric shape in which finite and infinite are united, a symbol of perfection, of absolute regularity. The sphere has always evoked great meanings and challenges human understanding to the physical universe. It has a powerful symbolism, it is the principle, the center, it represents both male and female power because on the one hand it is a symbol of the sun and on the other of water, it represents time, immortality; according to Jung it is the symbol of the Self and of the totality of the psyche, in Hinduism it is the wheel of life.

Onyx is a particular stone with a fairly uniform consistency, characterized by little porosity. Applied indoors, it is ideal for furnishings, artistic elements, objects, sculptures. According to legend, Cupid created this gem when he cut the nails of sleeping Venus and left them scattered on the floor. Since the parts of a divine creature are not mortal, the deities transformed them into a gem, which was later called Onyx.
